It’s that time of year again! We’ve posted our 2026 tryout dates and times on our website and in the link in our bio, where you can also register. All tryouts will be held at Swenson Park, located at 901 Shermer Road in Glenview. Please pay special attention to the age chart. GTFA has switched to a September 1st DOB cutoff to align with USA Softball (our national governing body) and other national organizations like USSSA and PGF. Jodi Klemm, the GLOA scheduler, umpired both of our Titans 12u Gold games at the @dybsa_il tournament and it was a great experience! She gave our team a pep talk between games, encouraging them to set individual goals for tomorrow. Since MVP medals are typically exchanged between teams post-game, we decided to do something special in return: our team presented Jodi with an MVP Umpire game ball signed by the whole team! 🥎❤️🙌🏼
